Omega Plus Seaweed

Perilla oil is a vegetable oil derived from perilla seeds with a distinctly nutty aroma. Perilla oil is a natural anti-inflammatory and is a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids, which have been associated with benefits in a wide range of inflammatory conditions, heart diseases, colitis/Crohn’s disease, asthma, allergies, antimicrobial, anticancer and more.

While commonly used in traditional Korean cooking, perilla oil is seldom found in commercial seaweed products due to its difficultly in processing and fast oxidation. Master Hee’s has developed a proprietary anti-oxidation method that allows us to use perilla oil as a core ingredient in our seaweed snacks, and bring the taste of traditional Korean style seaweed to you. 

We use Sesame and Perilla oil freshly pressed at our own mill.

We select only the finest sea salt that was produced by a prestigious saltern that has passed down the tradition of Korean salt farming.
