I was simply looking for a healthy, easy-to-make snack for my children. I made a humble living selling street food out of a food cart in the marketplace of my hometown. My food was delicious and my customers love it, but that meant long nights and time away from my children. Many mornings, while I was still out working, my three young children would start their school day with empty lunch pails. It is the worst feeling a mother can have. 

I knew that the secret was to create food tasty enough to sell in the marketplace, and healthy enough for my own children. After testing countless recipes, I perfected my own homemade variety of seaweed flakes. Yes, these products were originally made for my own children.
